I decided to call the RT department at my college today to find out if I was still on the acceptance list for Fall 2009. Apparently I am & I'm number ONE on the list. Meaning I'm pretty much in. ALL I gotta do is turn in the paper that I sign saying that I am still interested in the program.
OMG... I'm SO excited. After waiting for half a year I pretty much KNOW that I'm in the program come this Fall. =] Yay! =D
You have NO IDEA how ecstatic I am about it. =] The documents are sent out in Feb & orientation is in June. Program starts in August. Hot damn... I'm nervous yet unbelievably excited all at the same time.
So here it is... my college degree... coming right on up. I already have my associate's in General Ed but now I'll be attaining an actual degree for a major. :)

So I have to quit my job come August cause, I want to focus COMPLETELY on my program when I get in. :)
Oh, I got a raise at work today too. LOL. My raise kicks in next pay period. OH, & I'll be paying off my car by the time I get my paycheck on the 15th! :D Yay... so much good news to share in one day. Heh.
Okay, enough blabbering. Just wanted to share all of the good news.
BTW... I'm taking the board to become a registered Respiratory Therapist, not a certified one. Dude, if I'm going to spend 2 years & get an Associates Degree for it, I might as be a Registered RT & not just a certified one. :)
So that is all. :) Gotta rest up... work tomorrow. :P
